YOGA POSE FOR THE MONTH by Sophie Rouse
Legs
up the Wall - A great antidote to tired legs and stress
How
to:
Grab a bolster or one or two pillows and place near a wall
Lie with your hips or lower back on the bolster and bring your legs up the wall
Play with your position until you are really comfortable
If you have an i-pod play some gentle music to help relax you
Hang out with your legs up the wall for between 10-30 minutes
Benefits:
Legs up the Wall brings immediate relaxation
to the body, it calms the nerves, and brings restoration to the mind and body.
It helps you to breathe more deeply, bringing longer lasting relaxation. It has
also been shown to reduce hot flushes in menopausal women. It refreshes the
legs and brings fresh blood to the abdominal organs, assisting in rejuvenation.
This is a pose that can be practiced every day, and is wonderful at the end of
the day to bring true relaxation to a hectic day.
When you come out of this pose ensure you lie on the ground and let the blood return to your legs.
When you come out of this pose ensure you lie on the ground and let the blood return to your legs.

AWAKEN
POSITIVE THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH by Cheryne Blom
This is one of my favourite quotes...
"The Woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further then
the crowd. The Woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has even been before."
Albert Einstein
Very often we are scared of people judging us, or we fear being alone or not fitting in. It is amazing what we can achieve when we challenge our fear... Be Brave and have an awesome month! To read more about Cheryne click here
